"The talks focused on the current situation in Kosovo and the region, and on the process of definition of Kosovo's status, with both officials emphasising that efforts to settle that issue must be in line with the further normalisation and stabilisation of the region," the statement said.
The two officials also discussed possibilities for further development of economic relations and the need to introduce flights between Zagreb and Pristina.
Qeku arrived in Zagreb from Moscow and was received by President Mesic for talks at his request.
