ZAGREB, Nov 9 (Hina) - Croatia ranked 44th among 177 countries on the Social Development Index for this year. The report on the matter was published by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on Thursday.
ZAGREB, Nov 9 (Hina) - Croatia ranked 44th among 177 countries on
the Social Development Index for this year. The report on the matter was
published by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on Thursday. In relation to 2005, Croatia progressed one place, according to the
report which has been forwarded to the media from the UNDP branch office in
Croatia.
At the top of the list are Norway and Iceland followed by Australia,
Ireland and Sweden.
At the bottom are Niger, Sierra Leone, Mali, Burkina Faso and other
sub-Saharan African countries.
