According to the statement, the Croatian minister visited Norway at the invitation of Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere. Grabar Kitarovic also held talks with Norwegian Parliament Speaker Thorbjoern Jagland and the head of the parliamentary foreign affairs committee, Olav Akselsen.

Grabar Kitarovic thanked the Norwegian officials on their support for Croatia's joining NATO and the European Union.

During the talks with Stoere, Grabar Kitarovic said Croatia was prepared to continue with the reform process and preparations for NATO membership, stressing the importance of the coming NATO summit in Riga from which Croatia expects clear signals concerning membership of the Alliance.
