"Adnan Terzic is an idiot," the entity's Prime Minister Milorad Dodik said in the northwestern city of Banja Luka on Thursday when he was asked to comment on Terzic's speech in New York.
Terzic informed the UN Security Council that it was the government led by Milorad Dodik that halted all reform processes and decided to hold the entire country hostage by its irrational retrograde policy.
Dodik responded that Terzic, who is the chairman of the Bosnian Council of Ministers, had no right to say anything like that and said that he was going to send a letter to the UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan.
Dodik also took exception to the European Commission for its negative report on reforms in Bosnia-Herzegovina and for holding the Bosnian Serb authorities responsible for bringing the police restructuring to a halt.
He accused the EC of taking sides with the other entity, i.e the Croat-Muslim Federation.
The authorities in Banja Luka are turning a deaf ear to calls by the European Union to transfer the police management and powers from the entity level to the level of the state and to establish police district that would ignore the inter-entity boundary line.
Dodik has already expressed his position that he would not accept Bosnia's integration with the European Union if that meant that the Serb entity police would be revoked.
