town of Dubrovnik on Friday.

called "Transition in Central and Eastern European Countries - Experiences and
Prospects" which pooled scientists from Croatia and Europe, started in the
southern Adriatic town of Dubrovnik on Friday. The event will focus
on political, social, economic, cultural and legal aspects of the transition
process.
The conference, organised by the Forum Centre for Political Research
from Zagreb and Dubrovnik University, will also focus on the issue of
corruption and lustration in central and eastern European countries in
transition.
