The Brussels-based EFBS is an association of credit and other institutions promoting and supporting housing finance. It was set up in 1962 and compromises institutions from 14 countries.
There are five housing banks in Croatia with about 650,000 clients. Croatia follows European standards in housing finance, the conference heard. In attendance were 57 representatives from 17 countries.
