The Speaker of the Sabor and the Speaker of the Eduskunta will meet in the presence of officials from political parties represented in the Finnish Parliament.
Seks is also scheduled to meet members of the Grand Committee of the Finnish Parliament, which is in charge of European Union affairs, Deputy Speaker of the Eduskunta Ilkka Kanerva, and Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen.
According to the press release, talks will focus on Croatia's progress towards membership of the European Union and possibilities of expanding parliamentary cooperation in that regard.
Finland, which currently holds the rotating EU presidency, strongly supports EU enlargement, and has developed successful and intense cooperation with Croatia, providing it with active assistance through EU projects aimed at reforming and adjusting state administration to European standards.
