"Croatia is skilfully avoiding to restore tenancy rights, and another major problem is recognition of years of pensionable service and the payment of pensions," representatives of refugee organisations said at a press conference in Belgrade on Thursday.
Refugees insist that tenancy rights should be restored for over 40,000 apartments whose overall value exceeds two billion euros.
It was said that Serbs in Croatia were being discriminated against, that there was no sustainable return of refugees and that therefore Croatia should not be allowed to join the European Union.
