ZAGREB, Aug 4 (Hina) - A delegation of the Croatian parliament on Friday laid wreaths and lit candles at Zagreb's Mirogoj cemetery on the occasion of Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day and Operation Storm's 11th anniversary, both
observed on August 5.

Friday laid wreaths and lit candles at Zagreb's Mirogoj cemetery on the
occasion of Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day and Operation Storm's 11th
anniversary, both observed on August 5. The delegation, led by Sabor
Speaker Vladimir Seks, laid a wreath by the Central Cross in Croatian War
Veterans Lane, by the grave of the first Croatian President, Franjo Tudjman,
and by the monument to missing and unidentified Homeland War victims.
Wreaths by the Central Cross were also laid by a delegation of the
strongest opposition party, the Social Democrats, and a City of Zagreb
delegation led by Mayor Milan Bandic.
