BAKAR, July 27 (Hina) - The Croatian Heritage Foundation on Thursday presented at a news conference in Bakar the voluntary Eco Heritage Task Force 2006 programme that is being conducted in the northern coastal towns of Bakar,
Crikvenica and Novi Vinodolski from 23 July to 12 August.
BAKAR, July 27 (Hina) - The Croatian Heritage Foundation on
Thursday presented at a news conference in Bakar the voluntary Eco Heritage
Task Force 2006 programme that is being conducted in the northern coastal towns
of Bakar, Crikvenica and Novi Vinodolski from 23 July to 12 August. This year's project, which pooled about 40 young people, mainly descendants
of Croats living in 14 countries, is aimed at protecting the environment and
cultural heritage in the said towns.
The participants will help experts in their efforts to carry out
archaeological excavations in the area of Crikvenica, Novi Vinodolski and
Hereljin. At the same time they learn the Croatian language.
