ZADAR, June 17 (Hina) - Djurdja Adlesic was re-elected president of the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) at an election assembly in Zadar on Saturday.

Adlesic was the only candidate for the post and won 80.2 per cent of the vote, from 661 of the 834 delegates attending.

The delegates at the 14th HSLS election assembly also elected six vice presidents -- Drazen Breglec, Ivan Cehok, Zelimir Janjic, Zlatko Kramaric, Hrvoje Vojkovic, and Stanko Zrilic.

"Croatia does not want either right- or left-wing parties. It does not want parties fighting for a better past but wants the truth and a real development programme in entrepreneurship and the economy. People want to be told when things will be better for them. The HSLS will try to say that be it in power or in the opposition," said Adlesic.

This was the first assembly the HSLS held after uniting with other Liberal parties.
