The Croatian designers who have won the award are Maja Bagic and Zeljka Zupanic from the KO:KE creative farm, Dora Bilic and Tina Mueller from the "Bilic-Mueller" studio, Andrej Filetin from the "Fiktiv" studio and independent designer Lina Kovacevic, "Fiktiv" reported last Friday.
The Art Directors Club was established in New York in 1920 as the first creative group of its kind. It is a non-profit organisation promoting the highest standards of quality and integrity in visual communications. It has been presented in Croatia through travelling exhibitions.
Young Guns is the ADC's biannual international competition for designers under the age of 30 and it presents young talents from all areas of visual communications - design, illustration, photography, advertisement and interactive media. This is the first time Croatian designers have been given awards for their entire work and not individual works.
Young Guns 5 awards will be presented at the ADC gallery in New York in November this year and the awarded works will be shown at travelling exhibitions.
