ZAGREB, May 24 (Hina) - The Croatian Ministry of the Economy,
Labour and Entrepreneurship on Wednesday presented a sectoral analysis as the
first phase of implementation of the EUR 1.4 million CARDS 2002 project
"Development of a Business and Investment Climate in Croatia". The
analysis covered five sectors in which Croatia can attract foreign and domestic
investment -- furniture making, car-part manufacturing, software design, boat
construction and repair, and transport services.
The second phase of the project will focus on major obstacles facing
investors, while the third phase provides for the implementation of the results
of the analysis in six counties -- Varazdin, Medjimurje, Karlovac, Rijeka,
Zadar and Sibenik.
