SARAJEVO, May 24 (Hina) - A three-day annual conference of police
officials from 33 European capitals, including Zagreb, ended in Sarajevo on
Wednesday, highlighting the need to further intensify cooperation and improve
police work. Zagreb police chief Marijan Tomurad told reporters that
the conference was a good opportunity to exchange experiences.
"We are aware that cooperation between Zagreb, Sarajevo, Belgrade and
Ljubljana must be more productive and we must use all means available to us to
attack organised crime, including trafficking in human beings and drugs,"
Tomurad said.
