ZAGREB, May 21 (Hina) - A regional summit entitled "Communication of Heritage: A New Vision of Southeast Europe" is scheduled to take place in the northern Croatian Adriatic resort town of Opatija on 1 and 2 June under the auspices of
the Council of Europe and UNESCO.

of Heritage: A New Vision of Southeast Europe" is scheduled to take place in
the northern Croatian Adriatic resort town of Opatija on 1 and 2 June under the
auspices of the Council of Europe and UNESCO. The presidents of
Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, Montenegro,
Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovenia and Turkey, and the UNESCO
director-general and the Council of Europe secretary general have been invited
to attend.
A similar conference was held in the Bulgarian Black Sea city of Varna
last year under the title "Cultural Corridors in Southeast Europe". The next
summit is due to take place in Greece.
