SARAJEVO, May 17 (Hina) - Railway companies of Croatia,
Bosnia-Herzegovina and Bosnia's two entities -- the Croat-Muslim federation and
Republika Srpska -- signed in Zenica on Wednesday a memorandum on the use of
the capacities of the southern Croatian seaport of Ploce and on transport on
the railway section of the pan-European corridor Vc which crosses the two
states. Croatian Railways CEO Davorin Kobak said the memorandum
meant that eight million tons of cargo would be transported by rail via Ploce
for Bosnia's requirements.
The project of cooperation among the four railway companies is endorsed
also by the World Bank.
