SARAJEVO, March 30 (Hina) - The House of Representatives of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina on Friday once again appointed a federal Government after the Office of the High Representative contested the appointment of the previous one last week saying the vetting of candidates for ministerial positions had been inappropriate.

The new government, consisting of five parties, is led by Nedzad Brankovic of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA). The new government includes all ministers from the old government, with an exception of Fadil Jaganjac, a candidate of the Party for Bosnia-Herzegovina (SBiH) for the post of the interior minister.

During the vetting procedure , the OHR said that Jaganjac was not a suitable candidate for interior minister so the SBiH proposed Amuhidin Alic for the post, former interior minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton.

The new Federation government includes ministers from both Croatian Democratic Unions in Bosnia. The Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia-Herzegovina (HDZ BiH) proposed Vjekoslac Bevanda for deputy prime minister and finance minister. The party also got the seat of justice and environmental protection ministers.

Candidates of the Croatian Democratic Union 1990 (HDZ 1990) got seats in the ministry of agriculture and ministry for refugees.
