OSIJEK, March 7 (Hina) - With a hearing of four witnesses on Wednesday, the Osijek County Court completed an investigation into a war crimes case known as the Sellotape Case.

Over the last five months, the court heard 130 witnesses who testified about the role of seven persons, including independent member of Parliament Branimir Glavas, who are suspected of murdering 10 civilians by the Drava river in this eastern city in 1991 and of the attempted murder of Radomir Ratkovic, who now lives in Serbia.

Investigating judge Mario Kovac today delivered the case files to the County Prosecutor's Office, which is to decide within the next 15 days whether it will issue an indictment or drop the charges, court spokesman Miroslav Rozac said at a press conference.

In response to a reporter's question, Rozac said that under the old Criminal Code which is still in force the maximum prison sentence for the crimes the suspects are suspected of is 20 years.
