Galic, the director-general of the national broadcasting corporation HRT, would succeed the outgoing Ambassador to Paris, Bozidar Gagro.
The Committee approved the withdrawal of the Croatian Ambassador to the United Nations and the World Trade Organisation, Gordan Markotic. Markotic will be reassigned to a new post in the Foreign Ministry.
The Committee also supported the appointment of Damir Kusen as non-resident Ambassador to Estonia as well as the decision to relieve Ivan Skaric of his duties as Consul to Kotor, Montenegro.
