OSIJEK, Jan 15 (Hina) - Newly-appointed psychiatric expert Dr
Zeljka Vuksic-Mihaljevic said in a report to Osijek County Court investigating
judge Mario Kovac on Monday that war crimes suspect Branimir Glavas would be
unfit to follow court proceedings for at least a month, court spokesman
Miroslav Rozac said. Dr Vuksic-Mihaljevic's opinion was based on
medical documentation compiled by the team of doctors monitoring Glavas's
health and her examination of the patient, Rozac said.
Also on Monday, judge Kovac extended the detention of Mirko Sivic, the
first accused in the so-called Sellotape Case, for another month.
Sivic was transferred from an Osijek prison to a prison hospital in
Zagreb on January 8 after his health deteriorated as a result of a hunger
strike he began on December 18.
