OSIJEK, Jan 12 (Hina) - The County Prosecutor's Office in the eastern city of Osijek will take necessary steps to identify the person who disclosed witness testimony in a war crimes case against independent member of Parliament
Branimir Glavas, spokesman for the the County Prosecutor's Office Zvonko Kuharic said on Friday.
OSIJEK, Jan 12 (Hina) - The County Prosecutor's Office in the
eastern city of Osijek will take necessary steps to identify the person who
disclosed witness testimony in a war crimes case against independent member of
Parliament Branimir Glavas, spokesman for the the County Prosecutor's Office
Zvonko Kuharic said on Friday. Kuharic would not specify what steps
would be taken, citing the interests of the investigation. He just said that
steps would be taken in accordance with the Law on Criminal Procedure to
identify the perpetrator of the crime of violation of the confidentiality of
proceedings.
The weekly Nacional published in its latest issue two statements
Gordana Getos-Magdic had given during the investigation against Glavas and six
other suspects in the so-called Sellotape Case, which concerns the murder of
Serb civilians by the Drava river in Osijek in the early 1990s.
Getos-Magdic is one of the suspects in the case.
