The main items attracting attention in Europe remained the higher grade cottons of Central Asian origin, and attractively priced good quality styles from the Mediterranean. Overall volume was low, with buyers in Europe expected to continue closely watching developments on the New York futures before adding substantially to their purchasing commitments. 141008 MET nov 96
