(Hina) - A day before the opening of the trial of
Bosnian Serb wartime military commander Ratko Mladic before the
International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in
The Hague, ICTY President Theodor Meron on Tuesday denied the defence
motion seeking disqualification of Judge Alphons Orie and a stay of
proceedings, the tribunal announced in a statement.
