SARAJEVO, May 7
(Hina) - The chairman of Bosnia and Herzegovina's
three-men presidency, Bakir Izetbegovic, on Monday received Serge
Brammertz, the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal
for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), who arrived in Sarajevo for a
three-day working visit within his preparations for a regular report
on the performance of this UN tribunal to be forwarded to the UN
Security Council.
According to a press release issued by the Bosnian presidency, the Izetbegovic-Brammertz talks focused on the forthcoming beginning of the trial of Ratko Mladic and on the ongoing trial of Radovan Karadzic, two Bosnian Serb wartime leaders charged with genocide.
