CEASEFIRE
MOSTAR, Nov 23 (HABENA/Hina) - President of the Herzeg-Bosnian
govt. Dr.Jadranko Prlic forwarded a letter today to the UNPROFOR
Force Commander for the former Yugoslavia Gen.Jean Cot and the
UNPROFOR Commander for B-H Lt.Gen. Francis Briquemont.
"We propose that you arrange an urgent meeting of the most
senior representatives of the three warring parties in B-H with
the aim of reaching urgent peace in all areas humanitarian
convoys pass, especially in the war zones, such as Gornji Vakuf.
Our party is ready to immediately join the agreement and without
any special terms accept the possible ceasefire in all conflict
areas. We express our full cooperation in organizing and
escorting all humanitarian aid convoys in the entire territory of
the Croatian republic of Herzeg-Bosnia," the letter states. Prlic
suggests that "the meeting be held this evening, night or
tomorrow in Medugorje, Kiseljak or some other place suitable for
Generals Cot and Briquemont."
