ZAGREB, Nov 20 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman
received Saturday evening in Zagreb American Ambassador to the
London Conference on the Former Yugoslavia Charles Redman.
President Tudjman informed the guest about Croatia's attitudes
towards the situation in UNPA's in Croatia and the war in Bosnia-
Herzegovina. The President emphasized that Croatia made efforts
to peacefully solve the issue on UNPA's and it supported the just
halting of the war in B-H by negotiations.
The Croatian President promised that he would use his influence
in order that humanitarian convoys could pass undisturbed and
safely over the Croatian areas in B-H.
Ambassador Redman supported Croatia's attitude which said that
lifting of sanctions against Serbia must be linked not only with
halting of the war in B-H, but also with resolution of the UNPA
issue in Croatia.
