UNHCR PROTESTS AGAINST ACTIONS OF MERHAMET

SARAJEVO, Nov 16 (Hina) - Representatives of the UNHCR protested against actions of the Merhamet humanitarian organization at a meeting of the State Committee of Bosnia-Herzegovina with co-operation with the UN on Tuesday, reported Bosnian radio. According to the same source, UNHCR officials said that Merhamet, contrary to the reached agreement, has taken certain amounts of goods from the contingent which was transported by UNHCR aircraft. The Merhamet wants to distribute goods according to its criteria. UNHCR representatives said that goods should be distributed to all citizens of Sarajevo. 161951 MET nov 93
