MORE RELIEF AID TO REFUGEES IN CROATIA

ZAGREB, Nov 11 (Hina) - The European Community Humanitarian Office, the British Red Cross and the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent launched a joint humanitarian operation in Croatia called EC2 and EC3, said the coordinator of the operation and representative of the International Federation and the British Red Cross, John Lane, at a press conference on Thursday. He specified that EC2 included the distribution of toiletries and EC3 the distribution of requisites for child care. A hundred and eighty-six thousand parcels for children and two hundred and sixteen thousand parcels with toiletries will be distributed to the local branches of the Red Cross in Zagreb, Osijek, Rijeka, Split and Dubrovnik. 111653 MET nov 93
