ZAGREB, Dec 3 (Hina) - Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic told UN
special envoy Yasushi Akashi yesterday that he was going to shell
Zagreb if Croatia did not withdraw its troops from the Bihac
pocket, the UN in Zagreb said today.
"Karadzic threatened to shell Zagreb and UNPROFOR is taking
this threat very seriously because of a possible escalation of
conflict," UN spokesman Paul Risley told hina.
Heavy fighting was today reported around the village of
Celebici, 25 km nort-west of Livno, Croatian Defence Council (HVO)
sources said today.
Bosnian Serb TV claimed Croatian army units were involved in
the fighting.
