ZAGREB, Nov 2 (Hina) - The Presidential Defence and National
Security Council met today under President Tudjman's chairmanship
to discuss various domestic and foreign policy issues, the
President's office said in a statement.
The Council agreed that Croatian government representatives
consistently expound Croatia's view and insist on concrete
deadlines for resolving particular issues.
The Council strongly condemned the killing of Milan Crnjak, a
refugee who went to visit his mother's grave in Canak (situated on
a strip of no man's land bordering on occupied territory). The
Council protested over the fact that the refugees were not supposed
to visit cemeteries in occupied areas.
The Council agreed that Croatia continue taking appropriate
steps to make its view well known to the international community.
The Government was instructed to establish a detailed analysis
on ownership transformation and the privatisation processes - the
subject of partly well-founded but, at times, equally unjustified
public criticism.
