MOSTAR, Oct 8 (Hina) - A founding assembly of the association of
Croat displaced persons and refugees of Bosnia-Herzegovina was held
today in Mostar, the Herzeg-Bosnian news agency (HABENA) reported
on Saturday.
Over 400,000 Croats had to flee their homes during the war in
Bosnia-Herzegovina. About 210,000 of them were expelled by the
Serbs, while around 190,000 Croats left their homes during the
Moslem-Croat conflict, the founding assembly session said.
Some 20,000 Croats fled their hometowns now under the Bosnian
Army control after the Washington Accords were signed and the
Federation established.
