ZAGREB, Aug 3 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Foreign Minister Ivo Sanader
received today South African Ambassador to Croatia, Johannes P.
Roux, whose office is in Vienna, stated Croatian Foreign Ministry
on Wednesday.
Ambassador Roux assessed the current situation in South Africa
to be very well after the first all-race elections, held in April
this year. He also expressed optimism as regards the future of his
country.
Croatian Deputy Foreign Minister informed Ambassador Roux of
the Croatian government's stance on a peace plan for Bosnia-
Herzegovina, devised by the five-nation Contact Group, and
reiterated that the issue of reintegration of Croatia's occupied
areas into its constitutional and legal system was connected with a
settlement to the Bosnian crisis. In this context Minister Sanader
noted that it was necessary the international community would be
persist in imposing pressure on Belgrade until the issue of
Croatia's occupied areas can be resolved.
