VIENNA, May 8 (Hina) - In the U.S. embassy in Vienna Croat and
Moslem-Bosniac delegations continued their talks on the
implementation of the Washington agreements just before 11:00 hrs
Sunday. The first round of the talks finished on Saturday
evening.
The negotiators would discuss the ethnic distribution
between Moslems and Croats of the key posts in the Federation of
B-H as well as an internal division of the Federation into
cantons. The negotiations would be led by two expert groups, one
of them for political issues and the other for the cantons'
boundaries.
Croatian foreign minister Mate Granic and Bosnian prime
minister Haris Silajdzic are the heads of the Croat and Moslem-
Bosniac delegations respectively.
Members of the B-H presidency, Nijaz Durakovic and Ivo
Komsic, who had arrived in Vienna last night, joint the Bosnian
negotiators today, whereas Ejub Ganic, Mariofil Ljubic and Vlado
Pandzic are also being expected to come in the Austrian capital
to participate in the talks.
After yesterday's round of talks Bosnian prime minister
Silajdzic said that the talks had been constructive, while
Croatian foreign minister Granic expressed hopes that
negotiations would successfully finish by Monday.
