ZADAR, Apr 8 (Hina) - UNPROFOR officials in Sector South expressed
satisfaction with the implementation of the Zagreb agreement on
cessation of hostilities at today's news conference in Zadar.
Reporters were addressed by UN spokesmen in Sector South Alain
Roberts, Major Pierre Linteau, and military observer in Sector
South Paul Southwal.
Noting that the disengagement was not yet through, UNPROFOR
officials hinted at certain difficulties with implementing the
agreement in villages divided across the middle by the
disengagement line. UNPROFOR spokesman Roberts recommended utmost
caution about minefields. He said two members of the Canadian
battalion sustained serious injuries this morning when they
stumbled into a minefield in the vicinity of the village of
Smilcici, near Benkovac.
