ZAGREB, March 16 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman is
leaving for visit to the United States from March 17 to March 21.
President Tudjman is going to sign principles of Confederal
Agreement between Republic of Croatia and Federal Republic of
Bosnia-Herzegovina together with Bosnian President Izetbegovic.
Croatian President is also going to attend ceremony of signing of
the agreement on establishing Croat and Bosniac-Muslim federation
in Bosnia-Herzegovina as well as formally opening of the Croatian
Embassy in Washington, said the statement by Presidential Office.
Meeting with U.S. President Bill Clinton was announced as
well. President Tudjman will also meet with representatives of the
most important world financial organizations, members of the press
and Croatian immigrants. Croatian President is going to have a
lecture at National Press Club in Washington.
After Washington President Tudjman will visit New York in
order to meet with the U.N. Secretary General Boutros Ghali and
members of the Security Council, stated on Wednesday the
presidential office.
