ZAGREB, Apr 7 (Hina) - Croatian army Chief-of-Staff Gen. Janko
Bobetko met with UN Force Commander Gen. Bertrand de Lapresle on
Thursday evening.
Following the meeting, Gen. Bobetko said he informed Gen.
Lapresle that the "Croatian side had fulfilled its obligations"
under the cease-fire agreement and that the other side had no valid
pretext for not fulfilling theirs.
He said the Serbian side did not withdraw from the "Kakanj
line North of Zemunik," which is within range of the Zemunik
airport. Another moot point is a road to Jasenovac, which the Serb
side kept closed, impeding the Croatian delegation to lay a wreath
at the Jasenovac memorial.
Gen. Lapresle said he would insist with the Serbian side to
solve these problems, said Gen. Bobetko.
Gen. Lapresle told reporters that the cease-fire agreement had
not been completely implemented, but that all problems would be
addressed by joint commissions, which had been appointed to deal
with such situations.
