ZAGREB, May 29 (Hina) - We were witnesses to various precedents in
this war for which there was no condemnation in human language and
mind that had not already been voiced; the murder of Bosnian
Foreign Minister Irfan Ljubijankic and the act of tying peace
troops on the posts at Pale were just latest examples, Croatian
Foreign Minister Mate Granic said in a statement.
Croatia most severely condemned the murder of Minister
Ljubijankic, especially in the light of the fact that it was
Croatian rebel Serbs who admitted that it was them who committed
the crime, Granic said and added that Croatia saw Ljubijankic's
murder as an attack on the very idea of the Federation of Bosnia-
Herzegovina and its Confederation with Croatia.
Despite increasingly violent Serb attacks Croatia was
determined to continue the implementation of the Washington Accord.
It was particularly important in the present situation that
the international community increase its pressure on Karadzic and
other Bosnian Serb leaders and to cut the rest of their ties to the
outside world, especially to Belgrade.
If this was not done immediately and with great resolution,
the international community would lose its credibilty and Bosnia-
Herzegovina would disappear in the chaos with uncertain outcome,
Granic said.
