SARAJEVO, April 14 (Hina) - Renegade Bosnian Moslem forces and
rebel Serbs from neighbouring Croatia today fiercely attacked
Bosnian government army positions south and east of Velika
Kladusa in northwestern Bosnia.
UN military observers said that the Bosnian army had lost
some ground in yesterday's fighting.
Heavy infantry battles and artillery exchanges were reported
around Mala Kladusa and Vrnograc. The Bihac safe area was calm.
Fighting also resumed in the Jelah area west of Zepce,
central Bosnia, where the UN had counted more than 1,000
detonations in the last 24 hours. UN sources confirmed that Serb
forces also targeted Tesanj and Maglaj.
UN military observers reported more than 1,500 explosions on
Mount Majevica in northeastern Bosnia but said that battles for
the control of the Stolice television relay were subsiding.
Two grenades hit central Tuzla yesterday leaving one person
wounded.
