SARAJEVO, March 31 (Hina) - Snow and harsh weather has delayed
military operations on most battle lines in Bosnia-Hercegovina but
scaled-down fighting was continuing at the Majevica mountain in
northern Bosnia.
U.N. military observers recorded the most severe clashes
around the RTV transmitter which was still under Serb control. Some
230 detontations were registered in the area and a further 159
detonations were recorded in northern part of the mountains.
UNPROFOR officials deployed near the so-called Posavska
Corridor (which links territory under Serb occupation in Croatia
and Bosnia-Hercegovina to Serbia) counted 45 explosions in the
area.
Meanwhile a U.N. investigation was still to confirm who was
responsible for the attack two days ago on U.N. observers at Sapna
which killed a foreign soldier.
