SARAJEVO, April 5 (Hina) - Bosnian Serbs denied clearance to five
relief convoys that were to set out for the Bosnian capital next
week, UNHCR spokesman in Sarajevo, Chris Janowski, said today.
Serb authorities located in Pale (20 km east of Sarajevo)
gave permission for only one convoy, which is to set out from
Metkovic.
Self-appointed Serb authorities in Pale today refused
permission to four UNPROFOR supply convoys to pass through their
territory. Three of the convoys were to transport fuel for peace-
keepers stationed in eastern Bosnia.
