SARAJEVO, Apr 2 (Hina) - Bosnian Serb authorities at Pale refused
to allow eight of 17 planned UN Protection Force convoys to pass
freely to their destinations in Bosnia-Herzegovina where they
should have transported supplies for UN 'blue helmets'.
Four of the UN convoys, which did not get Serb clearance for
the free passage, should have carried fuel to three eastern Bosnian
enclaves and to Sarajevo, a UN spokesman said today in Sarajevo.
Serbs have been obstructing for a month the passage of convoys
bound to UN-declared 'safe havens' of Gorazde, Srebrenica and Zepa
in eastern Bosnia, where they should carry fuel supplies for UN
'blue helmets'.
