VITEZ, Apr 3 (Hina) - Serb aggressors were amassing troops and
equipment at confrontation lines with the government-led Bosnian
Army on Mount Vlasic where the Bosnian Army had recently freed a
dozen square kilometres of territory, local Croatian Defence
Council (HVO) in Vitez reported on Monday.
According to the HVO report, newly deployed Serb soldiers
belong to the so-called first 'Krajina' corps, and others are
troops from the 'Army of Jugoslavia (AJ)' from the Federal Republic
of Yugoslavia (Serbia/Montenegro).
More and more tanks and cannons could be spotted collecting on
the front as well.
The deputy chief commander of Bosnian Serb forces, General
Milan Gvero, has arrived at Mount Vlasic, probably preparing
another Serb offensive on this front in central Bosnia.
There also the 'Army of Jugoslavia' crack troops called
'panthers', who have arrived from Serbia.
Today severe fighting was raging about the ski centre of
Babanovac on Mount Vlasic, the HVO sources said.
Clashes were going on for two Croatian villages of Potkraj and
Djelilovac, occupied by Serbs since November 1992.
The Komar mountain ridge, and the left part of the Travnik
front saw severe fighting, too, the HVO sources said on Monday.
