TRAVNIK, ZAGREB, March 31 (Hina) - The Bosnian embassy today
forwarded Hina an official statement on a Wednesday meeting between
Bosnian army, Croatian army and HVO (Croatian Defence Council)
chiefs-of-staff in Travnik, central Bosnia.
"Generals Rasim Delic, Janko Bobetko and Tihomir Blaskic
continued the successful talks they had begun in Zagreb earlier
this month.
Discussed was the current military and political situation in
Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia, with a view to promoting mutual
cooperation.
Generals Delic, Bobetko and Blaskic unanimously agree that
cooperation should be continued in line with the Washington Accords
and the military agreements recently signed by Bosnian army and HVO
representatives," the statement said.
The meeting agreed that an expert team would be appointed to
consider cooperation in manufacturing military equipment; that a
communications and information system would be set up; and that
similar meeting would be held regularly.
