MOSTAR, March 30 (Hina) - The Bosnian Federation President,
Kresimir Zubak, today commented on statements by the President of
the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Alija Izetbegovic, given
during his visit to Bonn and at a Democratic Action Party (SDA)
meeting in Sarajevo.
"Izetbegovic doesn't appear to be a sincere proponent of the
Federation", Zubak said at a press conference in Mostar. He
added that Izetbegovic's absence at a ceremony marking the first
anniversary of the Washington Accords "reveals his attitude on
the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina".
Speaking of Izetbegovic's insisting that the Croat-Moslem
Federation consist of cantons, Zubak said that the Federation's
Constitution specified that the Federation consisted of cantons
and - what Izetbegovic was constantly disregarding - of two
nations having equal rights.
Commenting on the kidnapped Croat HVO commander in Bihac,
Gen. Vlado Santic, Zubak said that "Moslem political and military
leaders bear all the responsibility" for his disappearance.
