ZAGREB, March 15 (Hina) - Ten humanitarian convoys with about 920
tonnes of food, which the UN World Food Program delivered in
February to the population of the Bihac enclave in northwestern
Bosnia-Herzegovina, was far below the needs of some 200,000 people
there, the UNWFP said in a statement today.
It estimates the food requirements of Bihac population at
about 2,000 tonnes per month.
Only 20 percent of the people in the enclave have received
small amounts of humanitarian aid in the last six months.
Not a single food convoy has been allowed to enter the Bihac
pocket since February 27, the statement said.
