ZAGREB, March 6 (Hina) - The President of the Republic of
Croatia, Franjo Tudjman this evening received in the Presidential
Palace the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and
Canadian Affairs, Richard Holbrooke, a Presidential Office
statement said.
The meeting was attended by Presidential Chief of Staff
Hrvoje Sarinic, Deputy Foreign Minister Ivo Sanader, the
President's Special Envoy, Ambassador to the UN in Geneva Miomir
Zuzul, Presidential Foreign Policy Adviser Zeljko Matic and the
Head of the Presidential Cabinet, Gordan Radin.
The talks were constructive and their purpose was to find a
solution to the peace process after the expiry of the UNPROFOR
mandate in Croatia, the statement concluded.
