ZAGREB, March 1 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister, Mate Granic,
today received a delegation from the Croatian Association of
Displaced Persons, led by its president, Mato Simic, the Foreign
Ministry said in a statement.
Granic reiterated that Croatia was determined to stick to the
decision to end the UNPROFOR mandate.
He also outlined Croatia's proposal for resolving the problem
of the occupied areas by peaceful means.
Refugee representatives supported the decision to end the
UNPROFOR mandate, hopeful that it would speed up their return to
their homes.
They drew Granic's attention to the difficulties they were
experiencing in their daily life and stressed the need for state
authorities to make more efforts to help them overcome the said
difficulties, the statement said.
