ZAGREB, Feb 10 (Hina) - Indonesian President Suharto is to visit Croatia on March 12 - 14, the Indonesian Ambassador to Croatia Soelaeman Pringgodigdoa, announced today at the meeting with Croatian Prime Minister, Nikica Valentic. Pringgodigdo, who's based in Budapest, arrived in Zagreb to discuss the schedule of Suharto's visit. Suharto will be accompanied by 60 Indonesian high officials and businessmen. Valentic said he was pleased that President Suharto would be visiting Croatia. The conditions for further cooperation between two countries were established during his visit to Jakarta last month. Suharto's planned visit to Croatia following Valentic's visit to Indonesia, is linked to Suharto's participation in the UN World Summit on Social Welfare in Copenhagen scheduled for March 6 - 12. Croatian President Franjo Tudjman is also expected to attend the summit. Today's talks also focused on "LGK-project", worth around a billion dollars, is designed to ship liquid gas from Indonesia to gas terminals in Omisalj (Croatia) to supply Croatia, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. "If the LGK-project is realised Croatia stands to become one of the most important European countries for Indonesia", Pringgodigdoa said. Valentic said that in this case Indonesia would become one of the most important partners in total commodity exchange with Croatia. Pringgodigdoa stressed that Suharto as President of the Non- Aligned Countries also offered the assistance of his organization in the peace process if Croatia so requested.
