ZAGREB, Jan 27 (Hina) - Today's VJESNIK leads with an article on
yesterday's House of Representatives session, saying that ending
the UNPROFOR mandate in Croatia was the only possible decision.
Vjesnik carries an interview with Adriatic Oil Pipeline
director Ante Cicin-Sain, who says the oil will reach foreign
countries by Monday.
VECERNJI LIST reports on a meeting of the ruling Croatian
Democratic Union (HDZ) party on filling in Government posts.
According to Vecernji List, Ivica Gazi will be appointed
Agriculture Minister, Marina Dropulic Construction Minister, Ivan
Penic Privatization Minister, Joso Skara Labour and Social Welfare
Minister while Adalbert Rebic will be appointed Minister without a
portfolio.
"Croatia Does Not Ask But Demands" is the headline of a
comment piece regarding UN chief Boutros-Ghali's estimate that
UNPROFOR's withdrawal from Croatia would be a disaster directly
affecting the UN mission in Bosnia.
