BELGRADE, Jan 10 (Hina) - Croatian Serb rebels' headquarters today
said in a statement that UN commander in Bosnia, Lieutenant-General
Michael Rose, had not announced his official visit to their
stronghold of Knin. The statement was broadcast by Belgrade Radio.
A UN Protection Force spokesman today told a Zagreb press
conference that the Serbs from occupied Croatian areas had
cancelled the visit of Lt. Gen. Rose scheduled for Tuesday in Knin.
A Belgrade Radio correspondent reported that Lt.Gen. Rose had
been expected only to pay a short visit to the UN command in a Knin
military barracks en route from Split to Zagreb by helicopter.
